The Nashua Sweepers besoiled an otherwise fine performance by London right fielder Adam Freeman by beating the Werewolves, 7-6, at Werewolves Ballpark. Freeman went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Josh Goetz, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 2.1 innings. Matt Gardner notched his 1st save of the season.

Nashua used the hitting of Mario Carrillo to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put the Sweepers on top, 3-0. For the game, Carrillo had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We ground out the win," said Carrillo. "That's all that matters."

The victory gives Nashua a record of 21-17.
