Aztecs Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Aztecs grabbed a win, 7-2, at Tony Gwynn Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from London pitcher Jim Autore. Autore went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Mexico City reliever Russ McKenzie was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Brian Bauer took the loss. Mexico City is 23-10 and London, with the loss, 20-13.

Mexico City went up, 7-2, on Steve Farnsworth's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Farnsworth hit in the bottom of the seventh, victimized London pitcher Brian Bauer.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Mexico City manager Chris Hallman.
