The Nashua Sweepers racked up a win at Ballpark of White Deer, bumping off the White Deer Tropics, 4-2. Mike Overstreet, who started for Nashua, pitched effectively for his team. Steve Quintero got credit for the save for Nashua. It was his 3rd of the year. The triumph puts Nashua at 17-13 for the season.

Malcolm McKechnie, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. McKechnie contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Nashua up, 4-2.

McKechnie called the win "a team effort."
