The London Werewolves topped the Dollywood Partons, 5-1, in Southern A action at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of London pitcher Rick Hill. Hill yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-1. The second-place Werewolves go to 21-11.

London used a well-timed hit by Eric Stogdill to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Werewolves ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Enjoyed this one," Hill told the London Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
