A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Bangor Lumberjacks and Lake Elsinore Storm.

A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Josh Lefler led the Bangor Lumberjacks to a win over the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-5. Omar Sotelo picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-4 on the season. He struck out 7 and walked 1 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 2 runs. Steve Ray, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.

With Bangor leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Lefler hit a sinker from Tokuyuki Matsuura for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Lumberjacks ahead, 3-0.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Lefler told the Bangor Times.

To call the performance of the 3-25 Storm woeful so far is an understatement.
