Barrie third baseman David Nevarez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to Pueblo at Stadia de Leones. Nevarez was 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. Scott Clary earned the save for Pueblo. The Heroes raised their record to 14-10.

Josh Johnson, who is tied for 10th in the S-A in doubles with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Johnson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Pueblo up, 2-0.

"I was a little disappointed," said Barrie manager Manny Uset. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
