Riding the 4-hit performance of the 23-year old designated hitter Ryan Willin, the Dollywood Partons stopped the Nashua Sweepers, 8-2. The Sweepers drop to 7-16.

With Dollywood leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Willin batted against Nashua pitcher Matt Bowden. Willin hit a fastball to left for a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season put the Partons on top, 2-0.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Tony Allen.
