Jimmy Rash impressed in the 8-3 Barrie win over London. Rash, who is tied for 3rd in the S-A in home runs with 6, went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Barrie, now 15-4, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Johnny Ginn had a big 3-run home run for the Admirals in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Barrie trailing 3-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Sanches and swatted a home run to left. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Admirals ahead, 4-3.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Ginn, "one at-bat at a time."
