A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the White Deer Tropics and Pueblo Heroes.

Kyle Stempien led White Deer to a win over Pueblo. The final score was 8-3. The catcher collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 triple and 1 double. He also delivered 5 RBI. White Deer is off to a hot start at 14-6.

Had Kyle Hirsch not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Hirsch hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Tropics.
