Marks Delivers Walk-Off Win for Tropics
The White Deer Tropics wiggled past the Pueblo Heroes, 4-3, at Ballpark of White Deer. The win was highlighted by the performance of White Deer pitcher Jerry Carmona. Dave Crumpacker claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 2-0. White Deer is now 13-6.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when White Deer center fielder Paul Marks, facing Dustin Nesmith, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Tropics the 4-3 win.

"We had a chance to win," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson, "but we didn't get it done."
