Bowsers Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Led by Albert Garcia, the Columbus Bowsers defeated the Nashua Sweepers, 11-3. Garcia, a native of Winder, Georgia, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Bowsers. Picking up his 1st save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Brent Conway. For the Sweepers, the loss makes their record 5-11.

Early in the game, Garcia had a 2-run home run for Columbus. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Bowsers on top, 2-0.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Columbus manager Joe Mills.
