The Pueblo Heroes picked up a win at Ballpark of Columbus, knocking off the Columbus Bowsers, 5-4. On the mound for Pueblo was right-hander Josh Lienhard. He played a key role in the triumph. Columbus is 8-7 after the defeat.

Pueblo used the timely hitting of David Willis to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Heroes on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Columbus manager Joe Mills.
