The Kalamazoo Comets beat the Columbus Bowsers, 10-4, at Wizards Stadium. Josh Michael, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win gives Kalamazoo a record of 6-3.

Had Tony Robinson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Robinson hit a 2-run triple. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Comets.
