Loss Spoils Fine Performance by Lynch
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Ty Lynch, the White Deer Tropics lost to the Weedpatch Widowmakers, 11-10. Lynch was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a triple, while scoring 4 and driving in 3. Pedro Rodriguez came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Josh McPherson was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Kyle Alexander helped out the Weedpatch cause in the top of the fifth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the shortstop went 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
