The Dollywood Partons beat the Kalamazoo Comets, 4-3, in part because of pinch hitter Justin Hunt. He went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Dollywood reliever Jon Peterson picked up the win to move to 1-0. Justin Bunt suffered the loss. The win puts Dollywood at 6-2.

Hunt had a timely hit for Dollywood in the bottom of the eighth. With Dollywood trailing 3-1, he turned a full count fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-3, Dollywood.

Dollywood manager Adam Freeman called it "a pretty good win."
