The Columbus Bowsers took London pitcher Mark Herrera's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Werewolves Ballpark. The final score had Columbus getting past the Werewolves, 2-0. Herrera went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 9. Jesus Garcia, the winner, goes to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts over 6.2 innings. Josh Adams earned the save for Columbus, his 2nd of the year.
Roger Fana took London hurler Mark Herrera deep in the top of the seventh. His solo home run put the Bowsers on top, 1-0. In all, Fana had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
