Heroes Post 8-6 Win Over Bangor
The Pueblo Heroes powered past the Bangor Lumberjacks, 8-6, at Ballpark of Bangor. Jonathan Covarrubias provided some of the pop. He went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives Pueblo a record of 3-1.

In the top of the seventh, the Heroes grabbed the lead when Covarrubias hit his 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Elian Cason made it 8-6, Pueblo.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Jeremiah Simpson said.
