Flyers Stick Dust Devils with 7-3 Loss
Though he had a terrific game, Kevin Schneider could not prevent his team, the Kansas City Dust Devils, from absorbing a loss. Newark won the game, 7-3. Schneider went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Newark raised its record to 95-45.

The Flyers got an important contribution from right fielder Mike Scott, who in the top of the third hit a first pitch changeup to right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 24th double of the season and put the Flyers ahead, 3-0.

"Winning never gets dull," said Scott.
