Rockets Solve Glace Bay in Extra Innings
In a tight game between the Huntsville Rockets and the Glace Bay Miners, pitcher Dan Herbert was terrific on the mound. The Huntsville left-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. The win was credited to Orlando Gonzalez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Rick Deyo took the loss. The win gives Huntsville a season record of 82-56.

Huntsville got a clutch hit from Gabe Renton. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 17th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"This wasn't a good win," said Herbert. "It was a great win."
