The Santa Rosa Desperados picked up a win at Keelhaulers Ballpark, dropping the Tampa Capitals, 3-2. Justin Hesley, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in wins with 13, was the difference-maker. The win belonged to Shissho Matsuno in relief. His record improves to 2-8. Ademar Ramil took the loss for Tampa. Tampa has now lost 4 in a row.

Santa Rosa got a knockout punch from Bill Martz. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
