Ambassadors Get Past Glace Bay for 1-0 Win
Glace Bay got a valiant performance from pitcher J.P. Kallay, but it wasn't enough to beat the Fremont Ambassadors. Fremont won the game, 1-0. Kallay threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Fremont reliever Eric Willhite was the winner. His record is now 1-3. Nate Berkley took the loss. The 4th-place Ambassadors raised their record to 54-80.

Javier Tarango found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the ninth. Facing Glace Bay hurler Nate Berkley, the 21-year-old second baseman grounded out, driving in 1 run. His 26th RBI of the season put the Ambassadors on top, 1-0.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Tarango said in his postgame press conference.
