The Tyler Trolls had to reckon with Glace Bay Miners hurler Troy Conner. Conner, who is tied for 4th in the N-A in wins with 12, overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-0 Miners triumph. The loss makes Tyler 67-67.

Glace Bay used a clutch at-bat from Craig Carson to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Miners ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Conner.
