Ambassadors Win Nail-Biter in 10
The Fremont Ambassadors and Newark Flyers rewarded fans hoping for a nail-biter.

The Fremont Ambassadors had to overcome a big game from Newark right fielder Sam Berger to leave Ballpark of Fremont with a victory. And they did, winning, 4-3. Berger went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Fremont is now 54-80, while Newark is 88-46.

The Ambassadors got a clutch hit from first baseman Dan Richardson. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ambassadors.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Richardson.
