Trolls Pull Off Thrilling 7-5 Win in Extras
Thanks in large part to first baseman Ethan Patton, the Tyler Trolls clipped the Huntsville Rockets, 7-5, in 11 innings. Patton went 2 for 6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Carlos Orosco closed it out for his 1st save. The third-place Trolls improved to 69-65.

Patton had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a full count cutter from Tim Surber, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Trolls a 7-5 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Patton.

"Exciting game to play in," said Patton. "Getting the win makes it even better."
