The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks trumped the Kansas City Dust Devils, 9-2, at Kansas City Grounds. Grand Rapids second baseman Caleb Herd was terrific. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Satoshi Nishiyama got the save, the 5th for him this season. The first-place Jet Hawks, at 87-47, now lead their division by 7 games.
