The St. Catharines Blue Jays overcame a big game from Santa Rosa second baseman Willie Rodriguez to pick up a win at Engineers Ballpark. The final score was 8-7, St. Catharines, in 13 innings. The Blue Jays got a clutch hit from second baseman Kevin Dobson. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Blue Jays.

"This was a nice win for us," said Dobson. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
