Kansas City and Tyler duked it out and the Dust Devils came out victorious.

The Kansas City Dust Devils outlasted David Torres and the Tyler Trolls, 11-9. Torres was impressive in the loss. The Tyler left fielder was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Kansas City pitcher Jim Unknown got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Scott Foote got the loss.

Kansas City used the clutch hitting of Francisco Castillo to capture the win. The catcher drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Dust Devils the lead, 4-1. For the game, Castillo had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Tyler manager Will Brewer.
