Rockets Rally For Late Win Over Ambassadors
The 5-3 Huntsville win over Fremont was due in large part to Jesus Belcher. The Rockets shortstop went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The first-place Rockets, at 80-49, lead the Northern A West Division by 5 games.

Had Belcher not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Belcher hit a run-scoring single. The Rockets took the lead, 4-3, and never looked back.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Belcher, "one at-bat at a time."
