The Tampa Capitals defeated the Deltaville Deltas, 5-2, in Northern A action at Capitals Ballpark. Tampa pitcher Aaron Kent had a standout performance. Jason Teske recorded the save for Tampa, his 8th of the season. The Capitals are now 55-76.

Kent picked up the win. He's now 7-6, after putting the Deltaville offense in the deep freeze. Over 8 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 1 hit.
