The Glace Bay Miners downed the Huntsville Rockets, 7-1. The hitting star was designated hitter Corey Myers. Myers belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Miners. The third-place Miners sport a record of 79-47.

Glace Bay took a 3-0 lead on Myers's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jimmy Redmond in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Glace Bay to the win.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Huntsville skipper Alec Roller.
