The Huntsville Rockets downed the Santa Rosa Desperados, 7-6, at Ballpark of Austin. R.J. Cashman led the way, going 1-for-1 for Huntsville. Rich Sargent earned his 17th save, after closing out the game. The Rockets, at 67-61, sit in second place in the Northern A West Division.
Huntsville took a 7-5 lead on Cashman's 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Mike Rodriguez in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Huntsville to the win.
"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Cashman.
