San Antonio Stallions starter Willie Trevino pitched his team past the Tampa Capitals, 2-1. San Antonio reliever John Schwartz was the winner. His record is now 6-5. David Rogers took the loss. San Antonio is now 83-43, 6½ games up in the Northern A West Division.

Josh Kreisle was the walk-off hero for San Antonio. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stallions first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Bottom line," said Tampa skipper Jayden Gamble, "we didn't play well enough to win."
