Capitals Pull Out Late-Game Win, 5-4
The Tampa Capitals did just enough to secure a victory over the Santa Rosa Desperados, 5-4, in 10 innings at Capitals Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Manny Flores. Dave Gonzalez, who is tied for 9th in the N-A in innings pitched with 132.1, picked up the win in relief. Ruben Torres took the loss for Santa Rosa. The Capitals are now 51-73, while the Desperados fall to 78-46.

The Capitals got a clutch hit from third baseman Alejandro Flores. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Capitals.
