Starting pitcher Jon Agans pitched well enough to help the St. Catharines Blue Jays beat the Kansas City Dust Devils, 4-3. The losses continue to mount for Kansas City, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
St. Catharines used the clutch hitting of Ricky Rodrguez to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.
Afterward, Kansas City manager Jaden White said: "Every team has a bad week."
