Blue Jays Use Late Rally to Win 5th Straight
|
St. Catharines beat Huntsville on the strength of starting pitcher Miguel Aviles's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Mike Dineen collected his 13th save. This win makes it 5 in a row for St. Catharines.
St. Catharines took a 4-2 lead on Brian Ruffino's 3rd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Ruffino hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Huntsville pitcher Joe Brackett shaking his head.
"Miguel made some big pitches when he needed to," said Blue Jays manager Walt DeRosier.
