The Fremont Ambassadors topped the Tyler Trolls, 5-3, with right fielder Mike Keener playing a big role. Keener went 2-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Ambassadors in the win. Fremont now sits at 67-56, while Tyler falls to 59-64.

Keener contributed in the top of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Fremont get the win.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Fremont manager Dave Sullivan.
