Deltaville defeated Kansas City, 9-4, in large part due to 22-year old first baseman Zach Weakley. Weakley drove in 4 runs. The first baseman had 1 double and 1 home run for the Deltas. Deltaville, with the win, is 43-81.

Weakley made an early impact for Deltaville when he stroked his 12th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Deltas on top, 5-0.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Weakley told the Deltaville Bulletin.
