Deltaville right fielder Felix Alvarez was sensational. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Huntsville beat the Deltas, 4-3. Luke Walley locked down his 16th save. The Rockets, now 76-48, have won 4 in a row.

Had Brad Bull not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bull hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Rockets.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Deltaville manager Edgar Hernandez.
