Starting pitcher Bill Blom took care of business, helping the Santa Rosa Desperados stifle the Huntsville Rockets, 4-2. Picking up the save was Chris Erickson. He's now 10 for 13 in save chances. The Desperados saw their win-loss record go to 57-68. At the same time, the Rockets fell to 76-49.
