At Alamo Field, the San Antonio Stallions and Cottage City Cannonballers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Cottage City Cannonballers besoiled an otherwise fine performance by San Antonio designated hitter Firmino Fischetti by beating the Stallions, 7-4, at Alamo Field. Fischetti was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Omar Vega snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-4 on the season. Bobby Williams suffered the loss. Masanori Kishimoto earned the save for Cottage City, his 2nd.

Ronnie Marshall drove in one run for Cottage City. The 22-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Bobby Williams. It was his 13th RBI of the season.

"I felt good up there," said Marshall. "I saw the ball well."

The Cannonballers now have a record of 36-88.
