Deltaville right-hander Xiao-yong Kuai pitched his team to victory over the Kansas City Dust Devils at Rogers Centre. The final score was 5-2. Deltaville's record now stands at 54-66, placing them 5th in the Northern A West Division.

The Deltas got an important contribution from left fielder Ryan Patton, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 0-1 fastball to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Deltas ahead, 4-0.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Deltaville manager Edgar Hernandez. "It's usually not just one thing."
