Grand Rapids Jet Hawks starter Josh Williams was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays, 4-3. The 'W' lifts Grand Rapids's record to 75-42.

George Gericke dealt the Blue Jays a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Grand Rapids leading 3-1, Gericke, who is tied for 3rd in the N-A with a .558 slugging percentage, hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.
