Scott Jones left his imprint on the 4-3 Tampa win against the Deltaville Deltas. Jones, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in stolen bases with 20, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. Tampa reliever Joaquin Palacios picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Frank Zamudio took the loss. Getting the save was Estevan Rios, his 2nd.

Tampa used a clutch at-bat from Mickey Brown to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Capitals ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Jones said.

The loss makes Deltaville 33-85.
