Ambassadors Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rockets
Justin Thurston knocked in 3 runs to help Fremont beat Huntsville, 6-3, in 10 innings. Thurston produced 1 single and 1 home run. Jeff Maggard, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. With the win, the Ambassadors are 40-79.

Thurston had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-2 cutter from Tim Surber, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Ambassadors a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Thurston.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Thurston.
