In a tight tilt between the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks and the Deltaville Deltas, Eunice Bamberg was the deciding factor. The Grand Rapids right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The triumph puts Grand Rapids at 73-42 for the season.

George Gericke, who is tied for 4th in the N-A in home runs with 21, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gericke contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Grand Rapids up, 3-2.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Grand Rapids manager Sadayuki Nishikawa.
