St. Catharines turned a fine outing from starter Fabian Ruiz into a victory over the Tampa Capitals at Capitals Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Ruiz, now 5-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The first-place Blue Jays lifted their record to 75-41.
