Nudd Spins 15-K Game
Everything was working for Brad Nudd today at Cannonballers Ballpark. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The fastball was working.

In an unforgettable performance, the 24-year-old Nudd fanned 15 Cannonballers and sparked the St. Catharines Blue Jays to a 5-1 victory over Cottage City. He left Cannonballers hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.

"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said St. Catharines manager Ricardo Mundo. "His location and command were really something."

In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 8.1 innings, Nudd allowed 5 hits and 1 walk in a superlative outing.

"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Nudd said with a smile.

Up to now Nudd has recorded a record of 6-5. In 17 starts he has fanned 111 batters in 116.1 innings with a 3.87 ERA.
