Carrigan, Rockets Too Much for Flyers
Rob Carrigan powered the Huntsville Rockets to a win over the Newark Flyers. The final score was 7-5. The Huntsville catcher was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Luke Walley closed it out for his 15th save. The first-place Rockets are now 70-43, the Flyers 55-58.

With Huntsville leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Carrigan batted against Newark pitcher Mike Crain. Carrigan hit a fastball to left for a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season put the Rockets on top, 3-0.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Carrigan.
