Blue Jays Get Clutch Win, 7-6
The St. Catharines Blue Jays trumped the Tyler Trolls, 7-6, at Engineers Ballpark. St. Catharines third baseman John Troia was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Andy Mahoney, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-3. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1 innings. With the victory, the Blue Jays record stands at 56-55.

The Blue Jays were down to their final out when shortstop Jim Elander turned a 3-1 fastball from Roberto Pleitez into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Engineers Ballpark crowd go wild.

"It feels good to get this one," Troia told the St. Catharines Daily.
