Dust Devils Lose to Blue Jays in Walk-Off
Blue Jays fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The St. Catharines Blue Jays picked up a win at Engineers Ballpark, knocking off the Kansas City Dust Devils, 4-3. Starting pitcher Miguel Aviles was a big reason why. St. Catharines reliever Mike Dineen picked up the win to move to 4-4. Mario Barros suffered the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mike Davis in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Mario Barros to win the game for St. Catharines. The home crowd went nuts.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Kansas City skipper Tim Cargill, "and it cost us."

The first-place Blue Jays, at 70-43, lead the Northern A West Division by 5½ games.
