Rockets Take Nail-Biter Over Blue Jays
The Huntsville Rockets had to overcome a fine effort from St. Catharines pitcher Greg Mortenson to win, 2-1, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Austin. Mortenson went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. With the win over St. Catharines, the Rockets improved to 59-53.

The Rockets got a clutch hit from second baseman Tom Steiner. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rockets.

"It was terrific getting this win," Steiner said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
