The Tampa Capitals did just enough to sneak past the Glace Bay Miners, 4-3, at Miners Memorial Park. Tampa pitcher Aaron Kent, in particular, had a standout performance. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Shane Leimer. The Capitals raised their record to 45-66.

Tampa used the hitting of Zach Macurdy to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Capitals on top, 3-1. For the game, Macurdy had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
