Huntsville and Glace Bay duked it out and the Rockets came out victorious.

The Huntsville Rockets got a marvelous performance from pitcher Dakota Penwell. The right-hander kept the Glace Bay offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 3-1 Huntsville victory at Miners Memorial Bowl. Penwell picked up the win for Huntsville, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-10.

Jay Anagnost had a direct impact on the outcome. Anagnost contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Huntsville up, 2-0.

Huntsville manager Tim Hodgson called it "a darn good win."
