Johnson, Flyers March to 11-4 Victory
Newark defeated St. Catharines, 11-4, in large part due to 19-year old catcher Nate Johnson. Johnson drove in 4 runs. The catcher had 1 double and 1 home run for the Flyers. Newark reliever Dustin Miller was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Austin Moore took the loss for St. Catharines. With the win, the Flyers hiked their record to 58-51.

Newark shortstop Ashton McSparin helped the Flyers go up, 6-4, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, McSparin hit a 2-run single off St. Catharines pitcher Austin Moore.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," McSparin told the Newark News.
