Chris Hankla played a key role in a gritty 2-0 Deltaville Deltas win against the Newark Flyers. The winning pitcher was Hankla, now 3-4. He tossed 5.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. The victory makes Deltaville 36-74.

Bobby Uribe had a big run-scoring triple for the Deltas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Deltaville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Rico Lopez, who is tied for 8th in the N-A in wins with 8, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Deltas ahead, 2-0.
